1) How do I download and install USB drivers for my SVAN instriments?
1) Go to the Svantek web site and select USB Drivers. Download the file and follow the instructions included. Make sure you use the proper drivers for your operating system. If you experience any problems, please contact us by email , phone or fax and we will help you.
2) How can I upgrade my firmware for my SVAN instrument?

3) How do I add additional functionality to my SVAN instrument?
3) Contact us by email , phone or fax and we can give you the price for the function/s of interest. Once we receive your payment, you will be provided with a unique user code that will immediately give you access to your new functions. A credit card payment will allow us to expedite your order.
4) How do I return products for service and calibration?
4) Contact us by email , phone or fax and we will help you.  Our goal is to make things as easy as possible for you and to that end, we will assist you in getting everything in order prior to you shipping your instrument. It is not necessary for your instrument to be returned to the manufacturer except when serious repair is required.

6) How often should I calibrate my Svantek instruments? 6) Calibration in the field should always be done, preferably before and after a measurement, proving that the measurement was calibrated. Calibrate using a quality calibrator such as SV30 or SV31.

Annual calibration, verifying your instrument by an accredited laboratory can protect you in a legal suit. We recommend annual calibration via an accredited lab for this purpose. Contact us by email , phone or fax and we will help you with this important matter.

7) Do Svantek instruments comply with ANSI standards? When reading the product specifications, mainly ISO standards are mentioned. 7) Svantek instruments are high quality and fulfill the demanding standards of ISO. Thus, Svantek instruments also comply to applicable ANSI standards. In some cases, there is no applicable ANSI standard and therefore, there is no "comparison" to be done.
