SVAN 948
The SVAN 948 is an all digital, four channel, Type 1 sound and vibration meter and analyzer using state-of-the-art Digital Signal Processor (DSP) technology for measurement function flexibility, accuracy and low power consumption. It is an ideal choice for “Human Vibration” and Hand-Arm analysis (according to the ISO 2631-1&2 and ISO 5349) standards) plus noise measurements in the occupational health and safety monitoring arenas. All required weighting filters and transducers (including triaxial seat accelerometer) are available. Four vibration and/or sound channels can work simultaneously with independently set-up transducers, filters and RMS detector time constants (e.g. simultaneous measurement of the Whole Body and Noise Dose or Hand-Arm plus Noise-Dose). The SVAN 948 can also work as a 4 channel 20 kHz analysis bandwidth front-end using real-time PC software like the SvanRT package.
SVAN 945
The SVAN 945A is a sound level meter and analyzer using state-of-the-art DSP technology for low power consumption, measurement flexibility and high accuracy. The instrument offer a unique combination of measurement capabilities, small size and many hours of battery operating time. It is the ideal instrument for acoustic measurements, environmental noise monitoring and occupational health and safety monitoring. It is popular amongst acoustic consultants, safety engineers, Public Services, industry, R&D departments etc. The instrument can perform real time 1/1 and 1/3 octave analysis simultaneous to statistical analysis. The meter has built-in required weighting filters for measurements according to standards (A, C, Lin and G (SVAN 945A)). Measurements in three acoustic profiles can be performed simultaneously, using independently defined weighting filters and RMS detectors (Impulse, Fast and Slow). Time history for all profiles are recorded in the large non-volatile memory. Sound tonality or Loudness can also be measured using the available options.
